Two days after I turned on the air conditioning the first time this year, it snowed and stayed on the ground a few days. Dave was really stuck - second car to the right.
Whew - I am finally eating well enough Sara says I don't have to keep coming to practice chewing and drinking! "That wasa when I was a liddle liddle baby."
I don't like to go to sleep. Ever. So I climb out of bed every chance I get and like to hide in rooms, then fall asleep there instead. Like under the desk, or at the computer chair, or under the dining table or behind a door. I think maybe the monsters won't find me there.
I don't know why, but this Elvis mask was kinda scary in our parade of costomes. I loved the bouncy houses they had up for Halloween everywhere. Think we hit them all around town.
We went to visit Grandpa and his sister's family in WA. Lovely weather and greenery compared to TX. Bodi's first time to see mountains and lots of forest. Every time we go to Home Depot he still talks about the 'scary people' (Halloween props) we saw there. Somehow that has left more an impression than going later to see Christmas decor.
We sold our first home in May, and lived in an apt waiting to get transferred to CA (it still has not happened). Bodi learned how to climb out of his crib in the apt and one day for his nap I discovered him in the rocking chair.
When looking for a baby name, we were reminded of Bodi from Jason and Clarissa's dog. We looked it up, and Bohden in Hebrew is God's gift, and Bodi in French and Gaelic means friend. It was so easy to say, it stuck well.
